Be careful as you search for ways to get information about the ongoing coronavirus pandemic: You could inadvertently install malware or spyware on your phone. Hackers thrive on chaos and see the current outbreak as a way to infiltrate people's devices and steal valuable information. A sign of the times: the U.S Health and Human Services Department, which is busy confronting the spread of the coronavirus, was hit with a cyberattack over the weekend. No vital information was accessed, officials said.
