Mobile application development is the established procedures and processes that go into creating software for small devices, such as tablets and smartphones.It is similar to web application development, and has its roots in more traditional software development. A fundamental difference, however, is that mobile applications (apps) are often written specifically to take advantage of the unique features that a particular mobile device offers. For example, a gaming app could be written to take advantage of the iPhone's accelerometer.
