Insomnia blighted Richard Sharp’s life. He might sleep for a restful six hours — or just two. Sometimes he would stay awake all night. While not an Apple hater, I personally prefer more open or at least less restrictive platforms and devices. That primarily translates to Linux and open source software on the desktop and Android on mobile. But if there’s one thing I have always been jealous of Apple’s mobile ecosystem is how it has grown to enable more complex uses and workflows, especially on iPads.
